The Zondagsschool (sunday school) is an intellectual variety show in which scientists, designers and artists deal with various themes from surprising perspectives. This sunday it holds a sale and explores the mechanisms behind our purchasing habits. Do we have shopping genes? Has the mall become our natural habitat? This afternoon, there is a lot to learn from trend watcher Janus ter Visser. We delve into the architecture of shopping malls and psychologist Lies Klumper tells about her treatment of consumer addicts. Iratxe Jaio and Klaas van Gorkum present the Zombiewalk they organised in Winkelcentrum Overvecht. The presentations are alternated with films by Yael Bartana, Chris Oakley and the church of stop shopping.
